"I've been going to the camp for two years and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I've attended the summer camp twice, but I've also been going to the workshops and concerts. There is always a great atmosphere. It's a great group of kids, young people, teachers enjoying the music and the time together in a private, relaxed atmosphere. I've made a lot of friends, become more confident on stage, got to know new music. All this in a great environment both at the summer camp and at the workshops. They also organise fun activities, besides playing music and concerts, I can only recommend it to everyone."

"If someone mentions Sound Forest to me, I instantly smile. The events and memories that took place there will stay with me forever because the whole camp is brilliant. I'm never bored because there's always something going on. The camp made me love music and I'm very happy to come here because I always have a good time."

"This is my 8th year as a camper. From the very first time I had the opportunity to participate as a clarinet player in some of the performances besides singing in the choir. As a music student, it was a great experience to play music together and to play at the end-of-camp concerts. The repertoire of the choir always consists of very good songs, and the vocal and orchestral parts are arranged by the teachers who teach at the camp. I have been attending the summer camp every year since I was 11 years old and most of the spring and autumn workshops. It's an important part of my life because the atmosphere is super fun and you learn a lot about different genres of music and how to perform them. I also look forward to the camp every time because every year the performances get better and better as we become more confident ourselves. For me, this camp has defined my life since I became a student at the Bartók Conservatory, the Liszt Academy's training school. This is in large part due to the musical inspiration I received from playing music with the teachers and students at the camp. It was here that I realised that in addition to classical music, you can also learn pop music or jazz, where I found completely new ways of doing things through improvisation. During the camps, the teachers teach with a completely different approach than in classical music classes, and it was here that I really fell in love with playing music. The camps allowed me to develop, I became more confident on the clarinet and I gained stage experience through the many performances. That's why I decided to enroll in the Jazz saxophone course at the conservatory as a grade 12 student. At the camp I made a lot of good friends through music. I also met my best friend here, with whom we were brought together by jazz music. We were able to learn very good solo performances together and put them on stage at smaller and larger events. I really got to love the camps, because life-changing things happen to us there even outside of playing music. I can't imagine a summer where I wouldn't go."

"I've been a member of the small group of the Sound Forest for several years. My first camp was when I was nine or ten. I will be seventeen this year and every year I look forward to the week of camp the most. I made a lot of friends with whom I shared a lot of fun, joyful, happy memories. For weeks after camp I tell my friends and family about the things we did, the things we learned and the experiences we had. For me, the camp is a place where I am happy and not focused on anything but what I love to do. I'm really happy and grateful to have this whole Sound Forest and to be part of this community."

"I have been coming to the Sound Forest for 7-8 years, but somehow every year there are surprises. It could be a program, the people, or even how well we can put a song together. I got to know a lot of genres, I learned how a song is constructed, what to pay attention to during the performance. All this while having a great time and being surrounded by great people who all love to make music and create. One of my favorite parts of all the camps is when we have a campfire, play some happy music, and even do a little dancing. We always end camp with a concert, which is a great experience and we always really enjoy seeing what we've been working on all week finally come together on stage."

"The first time I participated in the Sound Forest Creative Camp was simply amazing. But the best part, apart from the fantastic musical knowledge and 'coolness' of the teachers, was being part of a community where everyone was passionate about music. I enjoyed every minute of my time at the camp. I learned a lot about playing bass and music in general, and met people I've stayed in touch with ever since. Every year I come back and learn new things and meet new people. I think the Sound Forest Creative Camp, led by Péter Hórvölgyi and Éva Molitor, is a fantastic opportunity for any musician who wants to grow, be inspired and share their love of music with an excellent community.”

"I've been a pillar of the camp band for a thousand +1 years (since 2011) and thanks to that I grew up with music. I consider Éva Molitor and Péter Hórvölgyi practically my mentors, they naturally know the perfect way to help someone find their own way musically. You can turn to them with anything, even if you just need a conversation or motivation. The atmosphere at the camp has been unfathomably good from the start, and this environment and community has helped me the most in finding out how I can really express myself."

"My time at this music camp has been recently allowing me to be more active with the music aspect. During the past 2 years I have started playing music together with a very good friend I met in the camp. We started to get closer while playing music with each other and it was been a great experience. I first went to camp when I was 7 years old and ever since then it’s the main thing I’m waiting for when summer starts. In the more recent camps I started being able to preform separately from everyone else with my clarinet player friend. This has been amazing since it made me learn so many new things when it comes to piano like how to play along with someone else. Overall I really enjoyed the amount of fun I have at this camp and the amazing friends I’ve mad over the past couple years. I’m looking forward to improving as a group and becoming more professional in our performances."
